Diederik Kemmerling was born on February 4th, 1981, and is a Dutch internet entrepreneur specializing in E-Commerce and Social Media. He has spoken on many international conventions on E-Commerce and Social Media and has given lectures at the University of Aruba. Kemmerling studied International Business & Languages with a specialization in New Media at the Hogeschool Utrecht in Holland and at the University of Huelva in Spain. Kemmerling worked for several years as an E-Commerce & Online CRM Manager for Douwe Egberts and Sara Lee in Holland. He was responsible for developing Online Sales strategies and with determination was able to increase online sales with 60% within two years. During his work at Douwe Egberts, he gained a lot of knowledge from Holland's largest Digital Marketing Agencies such as: Digitas LBi, iProspect, and New Craft, to name a few. In 2012, Kemmerling moved to Aruba and started The Lab Digital Marketing Agency. After two years he expanded The Lab successfully to Curacao. The Lab offers its services for over 120 clients, including the Aruba Tourism Authority, Marriott, Hilton, Digicel Caribbean, Kooyman, Coca Cola, Mc Donalds and many more. The Lab has also supported projects for Aruba Doet; an charitable organization, University of Aruba and Medellin Departments of Education. Hajj Flemings is a Detroit-based serial entrepreneur, brand technologist, and CEO of Rebrand Cities. He is also the founder of Prompt Camp and serves as the Creative Director of Modern Athlete. Hajj operates at the intersection of brand, design, technology, and web3 and has raised over $1.5M for his startups. He has worked with some of the world's most iconic brands, including Cadillac, Nike, AT&T, Disney, JP Morgan Chase, Detroit Pistons, and WordPress. Hajj has spoken at prestigious venues such as Harvard University, Instagram, and the U.S. Department of Defense as an international keynote speaker. Hajj's story was chronicled as one of eight entrepreneurs selected for CNN's Black in America 4: The New Promised Land: Silicon Valley documentary with Soledad O'Brien, which was watched by over 1 million people. During the filming of that documentary, Hajj came to understand the lack of access to technology that was creating a permanent underclass in communities of color. Maciej leads global strategy & commercialization for offline measurement at Google. He helps advertisers connect their digital media strategies to offline sales. He is an experienced marketer, media analytics and brand building expert with over a decade of international experience spanning across all major markets in Europe, U.S. Canada, and Latin America. He has worked in several sales, product and business development roles at Google and is currently based in New York City. Throughout his assignments in markets like the US, France or Mexico he has worked with many start-ups advising them on their sales strategy, and market value proposition.
Ivy Laclé was born and raised on the island of Aruba. She went on to complete further studies in The Netherlands specializing in Leisure & Event Management. As part of this specialization she focused on concept development and marketing of events. While in the Netherlands, she helped organized a successful TEDx event where she put her marketing and event management skills to the test. Last year, she moved back to Aruba to further develop her passion in marketing and to gain more knowledge in management. Ivy is an Account Manager at The Lab which is a digital marketing agency in Aruba. As an account manager she is responsible for setting and meeting online marketing goals for her clients. By doing this creativity and setting up strategies come hand-in-hand.
